Cycle Masters is not a large company and we don't manufacture any products per se.  Still, we believe that our modest efforts to help the environment can make a difference. And that's why we make our environmental policy a matter of record.

Our environmental policy addresses the three areas where we can make the biggest difference: cycling as a form of transport, the use of paper, and corporate citizenship.

Cycling in any form is good for people and it does not harm the environment….But cycling is best for the environment when it is done in lieu of driving a car.  We recognise that cars serve a useful purpose.  This is especially true when a journey is long, when it involves carrying items, when passengers are on board, when no other viably economical form of transport exists, and when what awaits at the destination may warrant it.  However there are many occasions when cycling is the better alternative. In those instances, we will cycle - including to client premises where appropriate.

Paper is perhaps the single most area of waste resulting from our work.  We will minimise our use of it internally. When we prepare documents for our clients, we will correspond via electronic means where it is the client's preferred method of communication and it is practical to do so.  When we do prepare printed matter, it is with the intention and desire that its content will be more readily accepted, forwarded, accessed, referred to and retained.

Our clients' cultures and their standing as good corporate citizens are important to us. We will do our best to comply with the environmental policies of each of our clients realising that their policies are more comprehensive, demanding and worthy than ours may be.
